The SmallRig Z 8 Cage is a full cage specifically designed for the Nikon Z 8. This product features a cutting-edge design with unique curves, sleek golden accents, and a brown color palette. These features not only enhance its visual appeal but also provide reliable protection for your camera, giving it a fresh and rejuvenated look.

Detachable Cold Shoe Mount

Equipped with a detachable cold shoe adapter, the Z 8 Cage can be installed on both sides and the top of the expansion frame to freely expand microphones, fill lights, etc. Built-in positioning pins at the bottom of the cold shoe ensure precise placement.

Multiple Mounting Points

The Z 8 Cage boasts multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 locating holes for ARRI, making it compatible with top handle 3765 and side handle 4015. The NATO rail on the left side quickly connects with NATO Side Handles 3847 & 4017. Additionally, strap holes are provided for Hand Straps 3848 and the Wrist Strap PAC2456, with a QD socket for the QD strap buckle.

Quick Switch

The quick-release plate for Arca-Swiss at the bottom can be quickly installed to a tripod for Arca or a stabilizer for DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro, enabling a seamless switch between gimbal and tripod shooting.

Note: 1. Please remove the shoulder strap on both sides of the camera before installing the cage. 2. This cage is compatible with the Nikon WR-R11a Remote Controller.
